A Cancerian... In 2 ways...
1stly, born in a Cancerian month.
2ndly, a nose cancer survivor currently on the road to recovery. Had a tumor stuck at the end of my nose passageway, at the base of my brain. Went thru 35 sessions of radiotherapy (2 June 2005 till 20 July 2005) and thought all was clear till pains at waist area and fevers - which started halfway thru the radiotherapy, refuse to go away. Then GP and radiotherapy oncologist discovered that the cancer cells have spread to my bones n liver. Apparently with only 2-6 months of lifespan left, my chemotherapy oncologist took a gamble and put me thru chemotherapy. It was to lengthen my life a bit, so I would not die so fast, with an option to cure. Almost dead, I went through 6 cycles of chemotherapy (10 Aug 2005 till 27 Dec 2005). Although given an all clear, my chemotherapy oncologist put me on oral chemotherapy drugs (January 2006 till 19 Sep 2006), to be sure.
Lance Armstrong won Tour de France seven times after he recovered from cancer. His philosophy in life is "Live Strong". This is an inspiration. Live Strong and that means no relapse for at least the next five years of remission.
