It first started out on http://nicoc.livejournal.com in 2008 selling female apparel that are imported from Thailand, China and Korea. It then began doing preorders for apparel, bags, shoes and accessories in 2010 before moving to their own domain in 2011.
Nickel Row always have more than 100 products for their customers to choose from. It is updated weekly with about 20-50 new products. This is to ensure that their customers will always have fashionable and trendy items. In the near future, Nickel Row will also be holding preorders for men.
